  1. This has been on our living room floor since Christmas (it’s now April). My 2 year old son plays with it every day. Sometimes we stand at the blue line and sing the national anthem. Then, we pretend to be referees. Or we do drills “running” from line to line. Or we crawl around like a zamboni. It looks so authentic and is very easy to roll up — although we rarely do that because our son would make us take it out again. It’s a soft surface for any kind of play and very durable. It’s one item I’ll never regret buying.

The mini shini rink mat was just right for my young grandsons age 2 and 4. Both have been “playing hockey” with their Dad since they could crawl. They slip and slide like real skaters. Their Dad loves the pad on his knees and Mom loves it because she can wash it.

  3. Almost too small and the folds from shipping have not yet come out, which makes for an uneven playing surface.

My friend has it and we always have lots of fun. We always put preschool brick blocks for the boards. It is a great item to have because it saves rug burn. It also is a lot of fun to play on because it you see the lines and you don’t play on the rug. You can also line up the goals so it is easy to score. You should get to knee hockey nets thugh to have fun.
