Most Super-Glide rinks have sharpeners; with a sharpener players enjoy the rinks more. Shooting, Passing Drills and stick handling workouts can all be done standing still making the blades last? hours longer. The boot protects your feet so full power passing can be practiced for hours which will help out any team.

  3. GlobalSyntheticIce says:

The blade becomes duller faster than ice, this is not ruining the blades, sharpening is part of ice skating. Ice dulls the blade faster when stopping. Different types of skating (Aggressive game, training, and pleasure skate) all dull the blades at different rates.? The average skater has the blades last 45 min.-1 Hr. Professionals up to two hours. Skating for 20 min. on Super-Glide is equivalent to 1 hr. of ice time (endurance and mussel workout).

Yes it will work for backyards. Many people install in their backyards, basements, and garages. Snow, ice, rain and sun will not hurt it.

  16. swiggyswang15 says:

does it cost a lot and? will it work for a backyard rink

  17. GlobalSyntheticIce says:

@RajaTheFish You can install Super-Glide in a garage. We reccomend that you put a tarp on it? before parking a car on it to keep the surface clean, The weight of the car will not damage the surface. You lightly mist Super-Glide Skate Enhancer on the surface with the spray bottle we provide. You never use so much that it is wet and puddles. The enhancer will dry to the touch. DO NOT USE A MOP Indoor/outdoor carpet is better than using rubber. Rubber makes surface dirty, Carpent cleans blades.

  19. giantbmxride says:

    how much does? it cost?

  20. RajaTheFish says:

Is this stuff too slippery to use for a garage? Can cars park on it, and is it safe to walk on with normal shoes? I heard it is good to use a mop to wet it before use, so I would always be doing that before I skate. We would? also have rubber around it so i could step off the ice easily without damaging my skates. would this set up work, or is this not logical?

  21. GlobalSyntheticIce says:

@TheTyty548 Super-Glide is a polymer designed for ice skating. It? will not melt. We have outdoors in Florida year around.

  22. TheTyty548 says:

@GlobalSyntheticIce hey so does this kind of ice melt outside if? it was in the summer? cuz i have nothing to practise on
